2. The equipment is designed with lifting holes for hoisting. Before lifting, choose the appropriate steel wire rope based on the weight indicated on the nameplate.
3. The equipment should be placed horizontally and should be installed in a location free from obstructions by pipes or other equipment, allowing for about 1 meter of operational space around the equipment for maintenance.
4. If the pump's outlet pressure is greater than the equipment's pressure, a pressure reducing valve should be installed in the pipeline leading to the equipment.
5. If a pressure control valve is installed, it should be placed on the inlet pipeline of the equipment and must not be installed at the outlet.
6. The inlet and outlet pipelines of the equipment should be thoroughly cleaned before installation to prevent sand, oil, welding slag, and other debris from entering the equipment, which could cause internal blockage or damage to the plates.

Under the same pressure loss, its heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times higher than that of tubular equipment, and its footprint is one-third of that of tubular equipment, with a heat recovery rate of over 90%. When selecting, it is generally necessary to know the following parameters: the temperature and flow of the hot and cold media, or the heat load. Of course, the more detailed the parameters, the more suitable the selection will be for the specific situation.
After confirming the area of the equipment, it is also necessary to select the plates. Currently, most manufacturers use herringbone corrugated plates, while a few use flat corrugated plates. Generally speaking, herringbone corrugated plates can withstand higher pressures, and their heat transfer coefficient is also higher than that of horizontal corrugated plates.
