Semi-welded plate heat exchangeris specially provided for cooling heating and corrosive media. Two corrugated plates are positioned back to back and welded together along the sealing groove designed for the semi-welded PHE gasket by laser as a "box". The semi-welded plates of the PHE are specifically designed for corrosive media. Typically, we have two stainless steel plates of PHE positioned back to back along the sealing groove, forming a plate box with the gasket. Each box is sealed with a gasket. The refrigerant flows from one box to another, only contacting two of the four annular gaskets at the inlet and outlet.
